about sasha+max - meet the maker

Established in 2009, Sasha + Max Studio is based in Sydney, Australia. 

As an interior designer by day in my small commercial and resi design practice, my love for jewellery allows me to create on a much more miniature scale, building patterns, creating intricate details and pairing with other elements.

I started in 2009 making beaded items with other makers' art beads, and then discovered polymer clay in 2017, selling since 2009 on Etsy and Madeit Australia. I now make a lot of my own beads and components, often merging them with my collection of art and semi-precious stone beads. 

My work shows the influences of fabric and graphic design, abstract artwork, geometry, stripes, colour blocking, textures and the limitless opportunities of black + white. 

All jewellery is made by me in my studio. I hand build, cut, bake and hand finish every clay component. Each piece is ready to ship, and is a limited edition work so you can own a wearable art piece.
