about sasha+max - meet the maker

Established in 2009, Sasha + Max Studio is based in Sydney, Australia. 

As an interior designer by day with my own small commercial and resi design practice, my love for jewellery allows me to create on a much more miniature scale, building patterns and creating intricate details and pairing with other elements.

I started in 2009 making beaded items with other makers' art beads, and then discovered polymer clay in 2017 -  now I make a lot of my own beads, and often merge them with my large collection of art and semi precious beads. 

My work shows the influences of fabric and graphic design, abstract artwork, geometry, stripes, colour blocking, textures and the limitless opportunities of black and white. 

All jewellery is made by me in my studio. I hand build, cut, bake and hand finish every clay component. Each piece is ready to ship, and is a limited edition work so you can own a wearable art piece.
